How I changed my Financial Blueprint – Video

Friday, March 19th, 2010

A couple of months ago I did my no.2 speech at Toastmasters and it was called “How I changed my Financial Blueprint” and it went pretty well. It was about a book I read called “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” by T Harv Eker, and the effect that it had on my finances.

I posted the text for the speech here and now I have a video of it kindly recorded by another Club 59 member, Steve Cosmic.

Watching yourself speak is very educational. You can see all the little mistakes you made and improve upon them next time.

Let me know what you think.

I hope to post more videos of future speeches, so watch this space!

My Tribe released on Facebook

My Tribe

Big Fish Games just released a new game that I helped make! It’s called My Tribe and it’s a Facebook game! Check it out here: http://www.facebook.com/MyTribe. You get to grow your tribe and look after them in a tropical setting as well as construct buildings, make farms, craft clothing, discover science, plus tons of other cool stuff!

My Tribe was originally a downloadable casual game for PC/Mac and we turned it into a Facebook game in the Big Fish Games Vancouver studio. I helped with the design and programming and did the sound design.

The game is doing *really* well since we released it last week and it’s going to become a huge hit. Watch this space! ;-)

Please help me out and become a fan. Thanks!

Warning: Do Not Play!

Disclaimer: Do Not Play this video if you are worried about messing with your brain! I cannot be held responsible for any unusual effects or damage that may occur. You have been warned.

I made this track on my Amiga using ProTracker in about 1993 when I was 18. It contains a 3Hz pulse which is supposed to adversely affect your brainwaves. I made the pulse go in and out of phase on the left and right sides to mess with your hemispheres and then I added some crazy intense trance music over it. Listen to it with headphones on for the full effect.

The sample in the track is my friend Steve Bond saying “There’s something weird going on in my body … uh ah … I can’t take it, I think it’s going to kill me.” and the guitar playing is me.

Enjoy! :-D
