Grey Alien Games is delighted to announce that the award-winning Power Up Audio team will be lending its talent to Grey Alien’s forthcoming title, Shadowhand.

Published by Positech Games and due to launch on PC and Mac this summer, Shadowhand is a unique RPG card game in which an 18th century highwaywoman fights for justice. “As well as beautiful background soundscapes and battle sounds, the Power Up Audio team brings their expertise in using and balancing sound to add depth to the 18th century world of Shadowhand,” says Grey Alien Games’ Jake Birkett. “I have a great deal of respect for their work, so was delighted that they agreed to be part of the project.”

“Power Up Audio is excited to be working with Grey Alien Games,” says Jeff Tangsoc, studio director at Power Up Audio. “We are big fans of Regency Solitaire and Grey Alien’s philosophy in creating fun games borne out of passion. As such, Shadowhand is the perfect type of game that Power Up strives to collaborate on. We are excited to show gamers how our audio soundscapes can further immerse them in the world Jake and Helen have created.”

Vancouver, Canada-based Power Up Audio are audio specialists highly respected for work on hit games such as Darkest Dungeon and Crypt of the Necrodancer, with the latter winning Best Audio in the Gamer Choice Awards at this year’s GDC.

Grey Alien Games, based in Dorset, UK is an indie game company run by husband-and-wife team, Jake Birkett and Helen Carmichael, and has shipped more than ten commercial games over the past decade. Hits include Spooky Bonus, and Regency Solitaire.
