The Adventures of Torus

I’ve added a new link to my blog roll: The Adventures of Torus. It’s a comic strip that I’ve been drawing for fun. It’s not supposed to look good, as I’m not an artist (currently), although I used to be pretty good at drawing when I was a teenager; it’s supposed to be funny and action-packed.

I drew the first one with my mouse and it had some cack on the roller ball (it’s not optical) which made things really hard. So for the second one I used a pen on a pad and it was better. For the third one I went back to mouse and tried a bit harder 🙂 Then for the forth one I bought a cheap graphics tablet and it yielded a pleasing result although I need tons more practice with it because it still feels pretty weird to use.

Enjoy!

I won’t comment on your drawing skills, as I’m a complete turd in anything that involves pen and paper :p You should really have the latest strip at top and descending though.

Good point Anders. I see a lot of comic sites doing that (well most have those arrows for first/prev/next/last). The only thing is if I have several parts to a story then it makes sense to read them the other way round. Oh what to do, sigh 😉

Your drawing skills aside, it did make me laugh. Especially Adventures 3, I envisioned the silent “DOH!” the guard must be saying in his head as he realizes they’ve unintentionally armed Torus with a giant club.

Good, it’s supposed to make you laugh and also to be creative. It’s just a bit of fun for me. I should really another soon…

Hehe, I don’t envy you. Perhaps a “Read from the start” – button at the top of the page? Or links pointing to the beginning of the stories that has several parts in it. Anyway, keep it up.

Another little note: Add a RSS-feed, and I’ll bookmark you 😉

Yeah I’ll have to sort it out at some point, perhaps when there’s more content. Add RSS to the Torus page? I’ve no idea how…
