Grey Alien Games publishes Jewel Match Dracula Collector’s Edition on Steam

Sink your teeth into a gothic Match-3 this spooky season!

Grey Alien Games is delighted to announce that it launched Jewel Match Dracula Collector’s Edition on Steam for PC today.

UK-based Grey Alien Games published the game on behalf of Suricate Software, a European casual game developer behind numerous classic titles. This follows a similar agreement to bring Suricate’s other Jewel Match games to Steam.

The Collector’s Edition is packed with exclusive extras that you won’t find in the standard version. The latest installment of the Jewel Match series allows players to become a powerful vampire lord, tackle eerie match-3 puzzles and resurrect and refurbish the legendary Castle Dracula.

    Hi,

I own every game you have published except Jewel Match Dracula. They were purchased either on Big Fish or on Steam. I have purchased them for friends as well as for myself.

The recent announcement from Steam that we don’t own any of the games we spent money on was upsetting to many people, especially people like myself, who live on a very tight budget. I am a 66-year-old mom to 2 adults, and grandmother to 3, all of which are gamers, as I am.

Do you have any plans to offer this game for sale anyplace except Steam, as you are doing with Shadowhand Solitaire?

I also own all the Puzzles with Joe games and sincerely hope that future games will be offered for sale somewhere other than Steam so that when I buy them, I will actually own the game.

    Thank You for your time.

    Sincerely,

Hi Ila, thanks for your message and question.

At present we only publish the Jewel Match and Clutter series on Steam as that’s our agreement with the developers.

However, Joe sells all of his games on his own website too and I bet he’d prefer you to purchase there:
    https://puzzlesbyjoe.com/

We also sell our games on our website: https://www.greyaliengames.com/

The Jewel Match devs don’t have their own website but you can buy on Big Fish or other sites like GameHouse/iWin if you prefer.

I think the Steam announcement, whilst sounding bad on the surface, isn’t that bad because they are a huge company and are not likely to suddenly shut down or remove games. It’s even possible to back up your local copy of any games installed via Steam (you can google that and find answers I expect.)

    best regards

    Hello Jake,

Thank You for such a wonderful and helpful answer.

I will certainly purchase from Joe’s website from here on.

I looked at the link you provided: https://www.greyaliengames.com/

But didn’t find Jewel Match Dracula, however, perhaps because it is so new it hasn’t been added yet.

I will check the other places you mentioned, though Big Fish didn’t have it either when I checked on Wednesday.

As far as Steam is concerned, if it had been made clear when I joined them over 12 years ago that I was ‘renting’ games, I wouldn’t have a problem now. But that was never made clear.

I will do some searching per your suggestion and I do appreciate that very much.

    Thank You for your time.

    Respectfully,

Hi Ila. Jewel Match Dracula is by Suricate Games, not us. So we only publish that on Steam, we don’t sell it on our website. I expect it’ll come out on Big Fish etc eventually. It might be on GameHouse already though.
